A title known the world over, Elf The Musical JR. is based on the cherished New Line Cinema hit film. Buddy, a young orphan, mistakenly crawls into Santa’s bag of gifts and is transported to the North Pole. The would-be elf is raised, unaware that he is actually a human, until his enormous size and poor toy-making abilities cause him to face the truth. With Santa’s permission, Buddy embarks on a journey to New York City to find his birth father and discover his true identity. Faced with the harsh reality that his father is on the naughty list and that his half-brother doesn’t even believe in Santa, Buddy is determined to win over his new family and help New York remember the true meaning of Christmas.
**All those who register will be required to audition for their role in the show. Please prepare a 30-45 second monologue and part of a song no longer than one minute.**
Cast audition information will be sent to you via email upon registration.
- Before you register your child, check all of the rehearsal dates and times to plan for little to no scheduling conflicts. A complete schedule can be seen by clicking on CALENDAR in the menu.
- It is imperative to know that attendance the week of December 2nd-5th is mandatory for technical rehearsals.
- There are no rehearsals over NCSD scheduled breaks.
